The Netherlands On our trip to the Netherlands we were able to explore Amsterdam (North Holland), Leiden and The Hague (South Holland). Did you know that Holland is actually called a flat country and is one of the “low countries” in terms of elevation. It’s easy to explore the different cities of Holland because it’s a small country, but riding the train which btw are 100% powered by wind energy, is not that cheap!
