Paris, France
I’ve always been in awe of French culture, I remember wanting to learn the French language when I was in high school but could not find a good school at that time… then came college and surprise! French language is part of the curriculum and I was just ecstatic.
I wanted to see Paris for a long time, I thought I would see it right after school but God really has the best timing. I realized last year was perfect because even if we can’t travel this year due to the pandemic, we’re still crazy about last year’s trip. We’ve had lots of fun!
…yeah that includes our luggages transferred from all the train and airplane rides… hahahaha
I recall being so excited to walk up the stairs out of Trocadero Metro and just sprint to the Eiffel Tower, it felt like a dream I wanted to see it as fast as I could as if something would hinder me to see it hahaha my mom and sibs were even teasing me… LOL!
Paris was everything I imagined it to be, the iconic Eiffel Tower as it kinds of brings the city together it’s classic and majestic, the Seine River as it glitters with all the lights at night, the arrondisements as described by my French language teacher, the food (most esp. the croissant, baguette, butter, cheese, foie gras, crepe, macarons, creme brulee, escargot , fresh seafood platter…), the shopping, the architecture, the boulangeries in almost every corner hahaha hearing the language from locals, the ponts, the cafe’s, the museums… I can go on and on…
Although we weren’t happy about the rampant stealing in their metros… so watch out if visiting.
Honestly dreaming about going back, saved going up to the top of Eiffel Tower on my next visit.
Sacre Coeur de Montmarte
Shall we race again whilst going down the stairs, sister?
Thank you Munoz fam for making our stay in Paris extra special. We miss you and we look forward to see you again soon when it’s safe to travel.
