    TAIWAN 2018

Taiwan is a small country but has so many natural attractions… 1st Day We booked a day tour through KKday so it would be much easier to travel to Yehliu, Shifen and Jiufen. If you are going to book through KKday make sure it’s a weekday so they would include the Shifen Falls. There is also an option through Klook where you will be able to add Jinguashi (a town 10 minutes away from Jiufen) to the itinerary. Yehliu Geopark Be amazed by rocks shaped in honeycomb, candle, ginger, tofu and mushroom that were formed by marine erosion, weathering and earth movements. Make sure to buy the tickets online so…

    Singapore

Singapore— the melting pot of Asia, a blend of eastern and western influences. This country is seriously one of the most disciplined and cleanest I have seen, I didn’t even see a fly here even in their food centers. Upon arriving in Singapore we decided to buy the Singapore Tourist Pass Plus for each of us, it is an ez-link card that gives you access to Singapore’s basic bus services, LRT and MRT. To be honest this was a wrong move because when I computed everything it definitely was expensive… if on a budget just opt for the ordinary ez-link which you can load and use to pay for different things…

East Coast of the United States

There is also a place here called Mitsuwa Marketplace which houses different Japanese food options from Ramen, Japanese Curry, Matcha flavored desserts, Ebi Tempura and etc. MILLS AT JERSEY GARDENS If you’re planning to…

West Coast of the United States

What amazed me the most during our trip to the US, is its diversity in both the beautiful landscapes I have seen and the different kinds of people with different backgrounds, cultures, and races coexisting together and calling one country their home… West Coast San Francisco Things you can do: Golden Gate Bridge Your trip to SFO would not be complete without a photo with the Golden Gate Bridge, this bridge is definitely one of the most photographed bridge in the world and is a prominent symbol of San Francisco,. Fisherman’s Wharf This is a busy tourist destination where you can explore a lot of souvenir shops and restaurants. Don’t…

    Ilocos, Philippines

ILOCOS, you are so rich in history. You are a place where remnants of the past are still evident yet you have used it to create your unique contemporary existence. Pagudpud, is the northernmost tip of Luzon and is well recognised for its beautiful white sand beaches. The trip to Pagudpud took us 12 hours because we had a stopover at Vigan, Ilocos Sur and ate at Café Leona. We tried Tina’s Empanada in Vigan, but I can’t really say that it’s the best because it’s the only one I’ve tried there… I honestly like how crunchy it is but I find the Vigan Empanadas sold here in Pampanga tastier.…

Things You Can Do In El Nido, Palawan When Tours Get Cancelled

Who would not want to visit El Nido? It is one of the primary destinations of the Philippines and it has always been a part of the Top Beaches of the World. Just seeing photos of it in the internet makes you want to teleport there and marvel on God’s creation. We booked our flight last year when PAL had a sale, we got it for 1,119 pesos only. CRK-PPS I sure am very lucky on flight sales! 😉   The ride from Puerto Princesa to El Nido took us 6 hours because of the stopovers the van had to make but others make it with only 5 hours of…

Obtaining a US Tourist Visa in the Philippines

In this blog post I am going to share the steps we took in obtaining a US Tourist Visa. Kiehl’s

Kiehl’s is definitely one of my favorite skin care brands, I just love that it incorporates natural ingredients in its range of products. In this blog post I am going to review some of Kiehl’s products that I have tried. Cilantro & Orange Pollutant Defending Masque This is my go to mask when my face looks dull from sun exposure or other skin aggressors… I just apply this in the evening and I wake up with a brightened and radiant skin. Since I am a fan of cilantro I am not very surprised that I loved how it smelled, it’s refreshing. *although others may find the scent to be strong. What…

    Kansai 2017

KANSAI REGION— home to many cultural and historical sites. We visited Japan again but only stayed in the Kansai Region. So instead of buying the JR Pass again we just opted to buy the Kansai Thru Pass for 3 days which you can use non consecutively. The pass lets you ride the subways, private railways and buses in Kansai area but excludes JR trains. It was priced at 4,000 yen for a 2 day ticket and 5,200 yen for a 3 day ticket. Using the Kansai Thru Pass we were able to visit Himeji Castle, and travel to Kyoto and Nara. On our second day we visited Kyoto’s Nishiki Market…

    Hanoi and Halong Bay, Vietnam

Imperial Citadel of Thang Long Vietnam’s capital races to make up for time lost to the ravages of war and a government that as recently as the 1990s kept the outside world at bay. Its streets surge with scooters vying for right of way amid the din of constantly blaring horns, and all around layers of history reveal periods of French and Chinese occupation – offering a glimpse into the resilience of ambitious, proud Hanoians. (http://www.lonelyplanet.com/vietnam/hanoi/introduction) We visited Hanoi, Vietnam and took a day tour at Halong Bay last October 14-18,2016. We stayed at Hanoi Elegance E-Central Hotel.   First breakfast and first Pho in Hanoi was eaten at Pho…
