    Santa Catalina Island

It is the southernmost island of California’s Channel Islands, and the trip from Long Beach to Catalina Island is 22 miles (one hour ride via high speed ferry). Brief History of the Island: The first settlers of this island were Native Americans (Tongva tribe) and called the island Pimu or Pimugna and referred to themselves as the Pimuvit or Pimugnans and their biggest villages are located at the Isthmus and present-day Avalon. It was then discovered by Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo an Iberian explorer, who is also known as the discoverer of California. He named the island San Salvador. It was the Spanish explorer, Sebastián Vizcaíno who rediscovered the island half a century later on the feast…

    Paris, France

I’ve always been in awe of French culture, I remember wanting to learn the French language when I was in high school but could not find a good school at that time… then came college and surprise! French language is part of the curriculum and I was just ecstatic. I wanted to see Paris for a long time, I thought I would see it right after school but God really has the best timing. I realized last year was perfect because even if we can’t travel this year due to the pandemic, we’re still crazy about last year’s trip. We’ve had lots of fun! …yeah that includes our luggages…

    The Netherlands

The Netherlands   On our trip to the Netherlands we were able to explore Amsterdam (North Holland), Leiden and The Hague (South Holland). Did you know that Holland is actually called a flat country and is one of the “low countries” in terms of elevation. It’s easy to explore the different cities of Holland because it’s a small country, but riding the train which btw are 100% powered by wind energy, is not that cheap! Amsterdam Amsterdam’s canals were created for defense and were later on became very important for trading. Amsterdam is truly unique with all its canals, its openness to Cannabis and… etc. hahaha! Things you can do…

    Bali, Indonesia

Did you know that Bali is called the Island of the gods? This island country boast beautiful beaches, dreamy rice paddies and rugged mountains. So much diversity considering Bali is only a province. Bali is the only province in Indonesia that has hinduism as its main religion, because most of Indonesia practice Islam. I find Balinese to be very spiritual, they respect both the good and the bad spirits. They have temples/altar at homes, too. Bali boasts a lot of beautiful religious sites which includes some of the most iconic; cliffside Uluwatu Temple to the south; Ulun Danu Beratan in the North (Bedugul); Tirta Empul Temple (which has a sacred…

    Tips on traveling to Europe

How to prepare for your Euro Trip 1) Upon receiving your visa make sure you book your flights according to your given Visa validity. *Don’t overstay your visa. Make sure to abide with its rules so you won’t have a problem when applying for a new one. 2) Check the weather of your destinations so you will know what to pack. Although this would only probably give you a glimpse of the possible weather of that day. 3) Pack light (if you can) but seriously… this is a must especially if your going to ride the trains a lot and you wouldn’t have anyone to help you with your luggages.…

    Vienna, Austria

Vienna is the capital of Austria and is dubbed as “The City of Music” because of all the composers that lived here including Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This city is also called “The City of Dreams” because… guess what? it was the home of the first psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud.   We fell in love with Vienna and clearly understood why it is ranked as one of the best cities to live in. Vienna has so much to offer, from wonderful museums, palaces, food, history, and etc. I have to say Vienna is also one of the cleanest cities we’ve visited in Europe this year, even the tap…
